Plastic put in it’s place on Great Barrier Reef

The tropical island paradise of Green Island offshore from Cairns, QLD, is home to over 120 native plant species and a colourful collection of bird life. The surrounding coral gardens host a rich diversity of marine life in all its abundance. Green island National Park is the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rainforest growing on it.

Recycled plastic Paddle Signs are prominent throughout Green Island, providing visitors with all the information needed to enjoy the beautiful destination in a manner that is safe for them and the precious natural environment. The Replas Paddle Signs have been joined by a series of new Brolga Totem signs, recycled plastic track markers that help navigation through the rainforest and down to the island’s sandy beaches.
