The new Cheltenham Level Crossing Removal, part of the Southern Program Alliance of Metro Trains Melbourne, has recycled plastic profiles as a fencing barrier, installed by Replas Pro Lee Brothers Fencing. "One of our corporate values is 'environment' and we incorporate this in many ways," explains Shelley Lampard, the Marketing Coordinator for Lee Bros Fencing, "we recommend this product to support environmental outcomes." The Level Crossing Removal Project is removing 18 level crossings and building 12 new stations as part of a $3 billion upgrade of the Frankston Line that will improve safety, reduce congestion, and allow more trains to run more often. "We're proud to install fencing using the end products of our office soft plastic recycling as part of our projects to support a circular economy," said Shelley.
Recycled plastic Profiles from Replas come in a huge range of colours, widths, and lengths and are available either rectangular or square. They are suitable for a range of uses such as furniture, signage, boardwalk kick rails and to create many other outdoor products, like fencing and barrier control. "We would absolutely choose recycled plastic products in the future as it aligns with our company and many of our customer's values," Shelley explained.
